A little about me.

SOULFISHER Racing is part of the crazy adventure I’m on with Christ. While I have always loved racing and tinkering with cars, the ability to have a race car and regularly participate in racing was only a dream. To be were I am today is an incredible blessing for which I can only give the credit to God. Now mix in that I get to participate in this wonderful recreational activity and get to pursue my calling as a minister at the same time and you begin to see why I pinch myself to see if I’ll wake up. That’s right, I get to minister and race as I serve as chaplain for Racers For Christ.
But there is more to me than just racing. I’m married to the most wonderful, encouraging, supportive wife a guy could have, and not just because I have my toys. We’ve been through alot together, both wonderful and challenging. If there is one thing that has been consistent in our life, it is God. If you lived with me, that may be the only thing you could find constant. My attention span is about as long as it takes me to run a quarter mile in my car.
I’m a father of two adult children who truly are blessings to us. Every parent hopes and prays that their kids will turn out alright. Our prayers came true. Yes, they offered their own unique challenges to our family while growing up, but each of them grew through the course of events and are a blessing to many around them.
I’m also a Sales Engineering Manager for Qwest. It’s been a great job and the job I’ve been at the longest with over 10 years in with the company. It would never have been a job I would have picked as personality-wise, I’m not the outgoing, sales type. But in the position I’ve grown out of my quietness (although some may still debate that) and improved my public speaking skills.
